The precious oil from the seeds of the Prickly Pear fruit contains high levels of antioxidants, vitamin E (150% of argan oil) and vitamin K to moisturize and soften skin, refine skin texture, minimize and prevent signs of aging, and reduce under-eye darkness and hyperpigmentation. Extracting the oil is a labor intensive process that can require almost a ton of fruit to obtain one liter of the oil. The seeds are carefully separated from the fruit and then dried in the sun before cold pressing. We source ours from the same remote mountain village as we get our high quality argan oil.
