From Morocco to New York
Connecting women across the world through a shared beauty ritual
Rooted in Heritage. Radiant by Nature.
We believe skincare should be transformative, both on the surface and beneath. We merge the ancient Moroccan beauty secret of argan oil with the precision of modern skin science to enrich both your skin and the Berber communities behind our ingredients.
How we started – 2007 in Morocco
Inspired by Morocco
During a journey through Morocco, founder Katharine L’Heureux was introduced to argan oil and the Berber women who harvest it. Argan oil has been a Moroccan beauty staple for centuries, used by women to protect, nourish, and enhance the quality of their skin and hair.
More than skincare, argan oil is an integral part of a shared experience rooted in ritual and tradition, fostering community and connection among women.
Our Story
Moved by the labor-intensive craft of harvesting and extracting argan oil – a craft passed down through generations – Katharine was inspired to bring this precious oil and its profound philosophy back to her home in New York.
On one of her following trips searching for the highest quality argan oil, Katharine was introduced to a small matriarchal village located high in the Anti-Atlas Mountains.
The women in this village were producing the highest quality oil through a mix of traditional techniques and modern cold-pressing machinery that preserves the oil’s purity. She embraced a giving form of beauty—one that honors the Berber women and their skills while enriching their quality of life.
Kahina Giving Beauty was born with the mission to connect women across the world through a shared beauty ritual.
What started with argan oil, has since grown into a complete skin and body care line.
As Kahina evolved, we’ve slowly grown into an intentional collection of products made from the purest ingredients from Morocco and beyond. The result is a high-performing skincare line blending the highest quality ingredients with the most advanced formulations to reveal your best skin.
