From my very first discovery of argan oil as the answer to my own need for healthy and effective organic skincare, product development at Kahina is pretty much based on what products I am in need of at the time. It is for selfish reasons again that I am thrilled to be adding Kahina Brightening Serum to the line.
It was after my first pregnancy that I started to notice the small dark spot on my forehead. The mark grew steadily darker with my next two pregnancies and I noticed another one pop up on the bridge of my nose after my 50th birthday. I really wasn’t aware that there was such a thing as a Brightening product until one of our customers mentioned that she was mixing up her own with our argan oil.
It made perfect sense to take the “glow” provided by argan oil and give it a boost with additional brightening ingredients. We’ve included some amazing ingredients known for their melanin inhibiting properties, including Japanese seaweed extract and a rare white lily, which has been sustainably sourced for our formula. Additional anti-inflammatory and antioxidant ingredients contribute to condition skin for an overall healthy, even and radiant complexion.
Personally, I’ve been using this product in its beta-phase for the last six months and am loving the results. I have noticed dark spots minimized, and my complexion is much more even in tone. Rather than whitening the skin, it can really be best described as a “radiance-booster.” Since I have dry skin, I like to mix it with the Serum and then layer the Facial Lotion on top, but it would be perfect on its own for someone with oilier skin.
