Omar Benhelloun, founder of ULILI, uses memories of his childhood in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco as his influence. He studied perfumery at the Grasse Institute of Perfumery in France.
ULILI works with master craftsmen in Casablanca to create the reusable ceramic vessels.

Our Taroudant candle is Inspired by the city of the same name located at the base of the Anti-Atlas Mountains of Southern Morocco—the same place we source our Argan and Prickly Pear Seed Oils.

This candle pays tribute to the spirit of the Berber women who work to harvest the oils at the heart of KAHINA. Born of an ancient civilization predating Islam in Morocco, the Berbers refer to themselves by the name “Amazigh” which translates to “Free Humans”. This spirit is embedded in all of KAHINA Giving Beauty products and is captured in the scent of this candle.

Housed in handmade, hand-glazed ceramic vessels, so no two are the same. Imperfections may be present and are part of their beauty.

Key Ingredients

Scented with a base of Neroli, an aromatic orange flower with notes of laurel, basil, and rosemary to mimic the bright morning rays of winter sun cast over Taroudant.
