Evil Eye – when praying isn’t enough

 In Morocco

I have much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving after a hitting a rough patch earlier this year.  I have always thought of myself as a lucky person, but my good fortune was failing me and at a certain point I had to wonder if I had lost “the force”. I told Majid (see http://kahina-givingbeauty.com/blog/light-of-the-prophet/) of these unfortunate events and he concurred that this was beyond mere bad luck and that it appeared that someone had given me the Evil Eye.I have learned not to be dismissive of Moroccan superstition. After all, it was in Morocco that I became a believer in destiny and learned to watch for the “signs” which have led me on my current course.Knowing that it couldn’t hurt my situation, and might possibly help, I asked Majid what I could do about reversing the Evil Eye.

First he needed to know if anyone had my photograph. If this was the case, then my problems could possibly be a result of black magic, which is much more serious and difficult to reverse, involving facing Mecca and reciting verses of the Koran in Arabic while holding water.Despite the fact that everyone now can see me picture on my website, my ignorance of Arabic limited me to curing for the Evil Eye.This requires a certain professional to write my mother’s first name, which I will not repeat here because it obviously contains a fair bit of power, on a small piece of paper alongside carefully selected verses of the Koran. This piece of paper is to be seen by no one before it is wrapped up tightly in colored tape.I am to keep this taped-up piece of paper on my body at all times.I’m ready and willing to do all this and am planning to make a nice necklace out of my Evil Eye protection.I just need to find the Evil Eye professional in New York to make it for me.

Please let me know if you know of anyone.
