DIY Treatment Mask with Strawberries, Honey, Yogurt
Here’s a simple recipe for a mildly exfoliating (and super moisturizing as well!) face treatment mask, made with ingredients found in your kitchen or at the local market. The strawberries contain natural salicylic acid, great for sloughing off dulling surface skin cells and revealing a brighter complexion. The lactic acid & enzymes in yogurt is an additional gentle exfoliator, and both yogurt and honey are antibacterial. The anti-inflammatory properties in argan oil soothe the skin as it moisturizes, leaving a healthy glow. The final product smells amazing (& is 100% edible!).
To prepare your mask, simply mix 2 tsp. of Kahina 100% Organic Argan Oil with 1 tbsp. honey. Add 1/4 cup of diced fresh strawberries, then 2 tbsp. yogurt. Mash together to form a paste. To apply, spread evenly on face then let sit for 15 minutes. Rinse well.
